Jonatan Martinez, one of the walkers for Campaign for an American DREAM (CAD), will speak at the Sonoma County Democratic Party Crab Feed on Friday. This year’s theme is “Democrats Rebuilding The American Dream.”

CAD features four students who will walk from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. to speak with communities across the nation about the DREAM Act and humane immigration reform. The eight-month walk will conclude on the steps of the Washington Monument days prior to the presidential election.

The walk begins on Saturday, March 10th at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and will be in Sacramento March 15 and 16.

The SCDCC evening includes a silent auction, awards presentation, and 50/50 raffle. The SCDCC is committed to electing Democrats and to supporting officials locally, in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. A ticket purchase can help them by providing the funds necessary to do so.
